Hello,

My name is Christine the mother of 6 true blessings and wife to a very loving and supportive husband.  This picture was taken 11/2005. The dog could not make the picture this year.   

My husband and I always planned on me being a stay at home mom and I love it. 

 

After the birth of baby number 5 while I was at a La Leche League meeting I meet a woman with a sling I just had to have. I had tried just about every one they sell in the stores, and none worked for me.  Of course she had made it herself, so she told me how to make it and I went and did it.  I had so much fun making them for me and my husband that I made some for my girlfriends that were expecting.  They loved them and asked if I could make some for their girlfriends. 

 

That was how it started.  I began selling on EBay at the suggestion of a friend and then moved into my first web site which brought forth the birth of Snuggle Hugs.  I picked the name because in a Snuggle Hugs sling you get to snuggle with your little one and they feel like they are getting hugs all the time they are in the sling.  All the other homemade items I carry came from things that I decided I needed for me or the kids - things that made my life easier.  So I figured if they helped me, they might help someone else.  Besides the kids get a kick out of going to the fabric store and I had to come up with things for all the cute fabric they kept picking out.  Enjoy your time here with us.  If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me.  me@snugglehugs.com
