Nine Acres has taken the top off the traditional Mei Tai, literally! This Mei Tai can go "blanketless" making summer wearing cooler.

Like many traditional Mei Tai, the Nine Acres Blanketless Mei Tai has a wide strap that is tied around the wearer's waist, but instead of having a body that connects the pieces, the Blanketless Mei Tai brings the shoulder straps right down to the waist strap, crossing them to create a seat for baby.  An insert of matching fabric to the removable back strap helps create a deeper seat for baby.  A removable back strap holds slidesdown the shoulder straps for a secure fully inclosed back support.  A decorative button helps hold the back strap in place.

Baby must be over 6 months old with strong head control to use the Blanketless Mei Tai.  You can remove the back strap for forward facing wearing, the back strap must be in place for all other carries.
